Founded in 2017 from Nicola Hart's kitchen table, Agua de Madre is leading the way in the mindful drinks sector. The water kefir is packed with 55 billion live cultures, is certified organic by the Soil Association, vegan, naturally fermented, sparkling and low in sugar it is also award winning, having secured the Imbibe No-Low fermented drinks award. The Remedio Naturale is a delicious sustainable bi product made from the fermentation process of the water kefir. It is stocked in leading restaurants, delis and health food stores including Planet Organic, Revital, Farmdrop, SuperMarket of Dreams, Not on the High Street, Moro and Morito. In 2019, Hart launched the Casa de Madre, a Fermentary/Tap house in Hackney, London where the drinks are made, bottled and distributed.
