Healthy Metal: the Raspberry-Lemon magnesium glycinate drink for enhanced relaxation and sleep.

How does it work? Magnesium regulates melatonin and GABA levels, promoting deeper and more restful sleep. Regular intake also helps lower stress & anxiety levels by balancing cortisol and increasing GABA. Not only is it highly bioavailable- meaning your body can absorb and utilise it more effectively- it's also gentle on the stomach!

Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp magnesium powder
(you want good quality, we love Healthy Metal) 
- 1 orange
- Half a lemon 
- A pinch of salt
- 90ml | 3oz coconut water
(We’re using one of our favourites Rebel Kitchen) 
- Top up with sparkling water 
OR
Alcohol-free sparkling wine if you’re feeling fancy!

Method
Build this cocktail in a mixing glass. Start by adding the magnesium powder, the fresh juice of one orange, half a lemon, salt and coconut water. If you have a milk frother, ‘fluff’ the ingredients (you don’t have to, but we think it blends in the magnesium nicely and gives a lovely texture to the orange juice 🍊). Pour over ice and top up with either the sparkling water or AF sparkling wine. Garnish, et voila!

Notes & Favourite Flavours

The magic formula for this cocktail is magnesium, potassium, sodium and vitamin c!

Magnesium powder also acts as a muscle relaxant, helping to prevent cramps and ease muscle tension. It contributes to maintaining a regular heart rhythm and managing blood pressure levels!

Coconut water provides the potassium, helping to keep fluid and electrolyte levels balanced. The salt is your sodium, and the orange and lemon juice is of course the vitamin c!
