Ingredients
- 15ml | 0.5oz Allspice Syrup 
- 15ml | 0.5oz lemon juice 
- 2 dashes Angostura® orange bitters 
- Top up alcohol-free sparkling wine

Champagne flute

Garnish
Orange zest

Method
Add your Allspice Syrup (see recipe below) lemon juice & drops of Angostura® orange bitters to a chilled champagne glass. Slowly top up with your favourite alcohol-free sparkling wine and garnish with a slither of orange zest. Cheers, Healthy Hedonist!

Allspice Syrup

Ingredients:

  • I tbsp Allspice (spice mix)

  • I cup non-refined sugar

  • 1 cup water

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients into a pan over a medium heat for 5-10 mins until the sugar has dissolved and you have a thin syrup!

  2. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Transfer the syrup to a sterilised bottle or jar. It will keep in the fridge for about a week!


Notes & Favourite Flavours

Angostura® orange bitters is a complex blend of tropical oranges & spices. On the palate it is sweet & bitter, giving a mouth warming array of citrus spicy notes, ending in subtle astringent mouth feel. It is wonderfully versatile as it not only pairs perfectly with spirits, it also adds a depth of flavour to cocktails!
